Crozer-Keystone’s Senior Health Services held a day of activities in May in honor of Older Americans Month. This event brought many people together to celebrate the aging experience through informational lectures as well as a host of activities to relax and revive.

After a small breakfast, attendees were welcomed by Diane Miller, President of Taylor Hospital, VP of Crozer-Keystone Health System.

Setting the tone for the event, Susan McWhinney-Morse, Founder of Beacon Hill Village, delivered the keynote address.

Crozer-Keystone Health System physicians and clinicians delivered informative and interactive lectures on a variety of topics
Non-prescribed vs. Prescribed Medicines:

Andrea Hafer, Coordinator of Clinical Pharmacy at Delaware County Memorial Hospital, informed attendees about non-prescribed herbal medicines vs. prescribed medicines.
Understanding Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD):

Allen Gabroy, M.D., Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Taylor Hospital, presented a lecture about GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease).
Identifying and Treating Diabetes:

Ruth Ann Fitzpatrick, M.D., Chief of Endocrinology at Crozer-Chester Medical Center and Medical Director of the Crozer-Keystone Center for Diabetes, discussed identifying and treating diabetes.
Crozer-Keystone's Medical Imaging Services:

Rejuvenate with Massage... Facials...and Much More!
Attendees were able to enjoy lunch as well as relaxing and fun events like line dancing, manicures, massages, facials, yoga and pilates.

Facials help guests relax and rejuvenate their skin.
