Outpatient Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Now at Delaware County Memorial Hospital
Crozer-Keystone Health System’s Outpatient Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Center has moved from the Barclay Square Shopping Center in Upper Darby to a new facility in the Medical Office Building at Delaware County Memorial Hospital (DCMH) in Drexel Hill.
The new facility features a modernized treatment space and offers free garage parking with validation, as well as convenient evening hours. Valet parking service is available from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The DCMH-based location is more centrally located for residents of Northern Delaware County as well as those who receive other healthcare services at DCMH.
The center features three full-time physical therapists and one part-time therapy assistant. The physical therapists are certified in the Graston technique and active release technique, and are also trained in the McKenzie Method, a specialized type of back treatment. All major physical therapy services are offered, such as sports and orthopedic rehab as well as TMJ, TMD and vestibular rehab.
In addition to offering fall prevention services, the center offers outpatient stroke recovery services as well as help for patients recovering from joint replacement. With highly trained and experienced therapists and low patient-to-therapist ratios, patients also benefit from the expertise of our physicians on staff as well as close proximity to hospital services.
Outpatient Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation at DCMH accepts most insurance plans and will assist you in determining your coverage requirements and limitations. The facility is open Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and on Fridays from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. To schedule an appointment, call 610-284-8460 or visit crozerkeystone.org to fill out a secure online form.
