Crozer-Keystone Urgent Care Centers Now Offer Select Prescription Medications
Crozer-Keystone Health System now provides medication dispensing at CK Urgent Care in Broomall and Pioneer Urgent Care in West Chester. Patients are able to purchase select medications prescribed during their urgent care visit as they check out. Payments are made out-of-pocket, and costs are comparable to insurance prescription coverage.
“This is a service our patients have been asking for,” said Nicole Froio, R.N., BSN, clinical director of Crozer-Keystone’s urgent care centers. “Medications are frequently prescribed during the visit as part of a patient’s treatment plan. Our urgent care clinics can now serve as a one stop shop for the most common injuries and illnesses we treat.”
Crozer-Keystone’s urgent care centers will dispense a selection of the most commonly prescribed medications. No controlled substances, such as opioids, are offered.
Crozer-Keystone has two convenient urgent care locations in Broomall in Delaware County and West Chester in Chester County. Our urgent care centers are the ideal choice for individuals and families requiring urgent treatment for common medical conditions and minor injuries. No appointment is needed and providers are available after traditional office hours.
